Woven Backpack Workshops

I’m excited to welcome students back into the studio for a new season of woven backpack workshops beginning in March and April 2027.

Over four immersive days, you’ll weave your own cloth before sewing it into a finished backpack using traditional textile techniques and industrial sewing equipment. These small workshops are designed for makers who enjoy working slowly, learning new skills, and spending time immersed in a creative community.

For the first time, these workshops will take place in my Marshall, North Carolina studio.

Registration will open this winter.
